The Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Kenduadihi, came into existence through the profound generosity and spiritual inclination of **Dr. Mritunjay Roy and Mrs. Kamala Roy** of Bankura town. On **29th March 2004**, they made a registered 'WILL AND TESTAMENT' expressing their noble desire to donate their entire property at Kenduadihi to Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Bankura.
Their vision was clear: to dedicate their assets for selfless service to humanity in the crucial fields of **health care and education**. Following the demise of Dr. Roy, Mrs. Kamala Roy meticulously executed the deed in **2009**, fulfilling their shared philanthropic dream. She further augmented this immense contribution with a significant financial donation, thereby laying a strong foundation for the Sevashrama's activities.
